The Erythropoietin Receptor is a homodimer, anchored in the membrane.  The membrane
portion of the molecule is missing.  The homodimer binds the Erythropoietin asymmetrically,
in fact what most likely happens is that the binding causes the receptor to dimerize. 

This benchmark case can be considered quasi-bound because we used the bound complex
structure to superpose two unbound receptor molecules and thus simulate the bound state of the
receptor.
