ZLAB stands for "Zhiping's Lab", a name invented by the first PhD student of the lab and stuck ever since. We develop
computational algorithms and apply them to biological problems. Trying very hard not to be interested in everything, we focus our research on
regulatory molecules and their interactions, such as regulatory proteins and their DNA/RNA target sites, small silencing RNAs and their RNA targets,
and protein-protein interaction. ZLAB has three main projects:
